Conference software from Weimar. Built by a team that stays.
Converia is powered by a team of around 30 people in the heart of Weimar who have been working toward one goal for over 20 years: creating software that helps universities, professional societies, and conference organizers manage their events. If you would like to join us in this mission, you can find out how we work and see our current job openings here.

What you will work on with us
Converia is conference management software for content-driven professional congresses – scientific meetings, association conferences, and multi-day events with programs, submissions, and peer-review processes. Over 1,000 conferences are organized every year by institutions such as the Technical University of Munich, the University of Cologne, and Fraunhofer Institutes.
The company has been around since 2000, and the Converia product since 2009. Part of the team has been with us since the early days. We operate without investors and decide our own tasks and goals – which shapes our long-term perspective.

What matters to us beyond our work
We like to share our success. Instead of giving Christmas gifts to our clients, we support a local social project every year—most recently the Weimar food bank and the Weimar children's home. We also provide our software free of charge to select conferences focused on social issues.
We participate in the Benefixlauf and the Weimar City Run with our own team, and we explore the region during our company hiking day. For those who prefer cycling, we share our favorite routes in our Strava group.
