Where are our data hosted and processed?
Our servers are located in Europe within an ISO 27001-certified data center, and all processing is GDPR-compliant. Our contracts and data processing agreements are tailored for scientific, medical, and public sector clients. We provide all necessary data protection documentation for your administrative department.

Yes. We provide a data processing agreement tailored to scientific, medical, and public sector clients. We will go over the details relevant to your institution during our consultation. Especially in the early stages, we maintained an intensive dialogue with university data protection officers, and their feedback has been incorporated directly into our DPA.
How is our data transmitted and protected?
Data is encrypted before transmission and hosted in an ISO 27001-certified data center. Our technical and organizational measures have been coordinated with university data protection officers; your data protection office can receive further details upon request.

What does support look like when things get tight right before the conference?
You will be speaking with people who know the conference business, not an anonymous helpdesk. Our larger packages include account management, ranging up to dedicated account management with phone support. We offer three separate hotlines for different needs: consulting (+49 3643/811 807 60), technical support (…807 90), and ticketing (…807 80). Service and success packages can be added on a monthly basis—even at short notice before or during your event. Depending on the package, this includes priority support (response times of two to four hours), 24/7 availability during the event, and an SLA contract with guaranteed response times. Upon request, the Converia team can also handle the setup for you.

Converia is hosted in an ISO 27001-certified data center in Europe. This is complemented by GDPR-compliant data processing and encryption of data before transmission. We adhere to documented standards for data security and are currently preparing for VdS 10000 certification.
