Case study: 3rd Swiss Congress for Giftedness and Talent Development goes online
On January 14, 2021, the Giftedness Promotion Congress of the University of Teacher Education FHNW kicked off. Not in person as planned, but fully digital for the first time. This was a real challenge for the organizers of the three-day event, but one they mastered successfully in every respect—as we can already reveal. Our software supported the team throughout the process.

The next relaunch at Converia: We have arrived at our new office
First it was our website, then it was our turn for a relaunch, during which we moved from our previous office to a new one. Although the old and new locations are less than 150 meters apart, we had our hands full. Looking back, it was worth it.

Don't fear new content: Why CMS-based conference websites are better
The look of your new event website is not promising: instead of 675 euros, the conference ticket now costs only 67 euros. No, this isn't a particularly generous early-bird discount waiting for your visitors, but simply an error caused by a missing digit. It becomes even more annoying when you try in vain to reach the responsible admin, who happens to be on vacation today instead of at their desk to fix the problem as quickly as possible.

Self-service at conferences (2/2): Printing custom badges on-site
Printing name tags for attendees in advance—too risky, right? Nobody wants to waste time at the venue waiting for badges to be created. But what if it happened automatically? Then it might just be worth it...
